There's a very thin line between harmless fun and bullying/embarrassing/insulting people. You cross the limit, the least you offer is an apology. You don't just brush it aside saying "you shouldn't take it soo seriously, it was all in the name of fun" If it happened to you, it won't be funny anymore, rest assured. Don't go overboard, there's a limit to everything!
